General Description
|

It
is a durable Dual-Line-Imager (DLI) fingerprint sensor with a small
exposed form factor. The product consists of custom silicon chip
bonded to a Kapton® plastics flex circuit, known as Chip-On-Flex (COF).
The sensor captures the unique features of a 3-D Fingerprint image
using a patented technique to detect and measure the ridges and
valleys of a live finger. The product, when used in conjunction with
the Validity Software Development Kit, uses a licensed and protected
Image Reconstruction Algorithm. It is USB 2.0 full speed capable and
represents one of the most durable high performance finger print
sensor devices on the market today. An on-board SPI controller can
be connected to an optional flash memory to provide secure local
template storage. |
